Information
The coins of Prince Litold from 1103 are the oldest mention of the church of St. Nicholas. The original church was destroyed by a fire and a new church was founded in 1338. It is built in cathedral Gothic style with massive cylindrical columns. Late Gothic frescoes are preserved in the presbytery. The revered late Gothic statuette called the Bread Madonna, and the unique globe shaped Baroque pulpit, attract the attention of pilgrims.
